Coach Leavitt:
Adam Leavitt is in his second season on the Kingsmen coaching staff in 2011. He played his collegiate ball at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where he was selected to the All-Big West First Team as a second basemen. He graduated in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. After college he played professionally for the Kalamazoo Kings for over two seasons.
Coach Signaigo:
Nick Signaigo is joining the Cal Lutheran baseball coaching staff starting for the 2011 campaign. At CLU he will work with hitters, outfielders, catchers, run the strength and conditioning programs. His recent coaching history includes a summer stint as the head coach for the Ozark Generals in the MINK, a wooden bat collegiate summer league in the Midwest. In 2009, Signaigo was an assistant coach at NCAA Division II Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo. Signaigo graduated from WWU in the Spring of 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management degree with a concentration in Exercise Science. Signaigo will begin pursuing a Master of Science in Health/Physical Education from Emporia State University.
Coach Schmitt:
Peter Schmitt recently completed his first season as an assistant coach for the Cal Lutheran baseball team. Prior to joining the coaching staff of his alma mater, Schmitt spent two years with the Conejo Valley Baseball Development and the summer of 2009 with the Agoura High School junior varsity team. Schmitt attended Loyola Marymount University before transferring to CLU where he competed as a member of the Kingsmen baseball team all four years. A member of the Class of '09, Schmitt earned his bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. The Las Vegas, Nev. native also played for the Bishop Gorman High School baseball team before graduating in 2004. In his free time, Schmitt enjoys golfing, watching UNLV basketball, the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, and San Francisco 49ers. Schmitt currently resides in Thousand Oaks.
