Coach Scherer:
Erik Scherer just completed his tenth season as the pitching coach for the Kingsmen in 2009. A 1995 CLU graduate, Scherer was a member of the CLU baseball program from 1992 through 1995. He holds a master’s degree in physical education from Azusa Pacific University and is a middle school teacher in Thousand Oaks.

Coach Leavitt:
is in his second season on the Kingsmen coaching staff in 2009. He played his collegiate ball at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where he was selected to the All-Big West First Team as a second basemen. He graduated in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. After college he played professionally for the Kalamazoo Kings for over two seasons.
